This is a first post here. But not the first post really. There have been so many blogs I have created in the past and I don't even remember how many exactly.
Well this is perhaps not the most appropriate time to write this. I'm facing a deadline for a essay for a part-time course I'm taking. Three more days to go before the submission of a 5-page article. But I have yet started a word..
I used to procrastinate when it comes to things that I don't treat as critical. Procrastination turns out getting worse if I ignore it. It's like some type of disease and it keeps on growing. Now I'm becoming worried because it starts to affect my life, my work, and my part-time study.
I've researched online for effective solutions to overcome procrastination. Some people suggest a 2-minute rule which aims at taking immediate actions on even complicated tasks and getting things rolling. I then think fighting procrastination is equivalently fighting myself, the lazy one inside of me. Maybe for the entire life, one needs to constantly fight oneself which is the biggest enemy. Perhaps those successful are often the ones that manage to put everything under their control, including their inner selves.
I'd better get back to study now.
